Couple behind wild Sydney police chase remain behind bars

The couple accused of leading police on a wild 90-minute chase across Sydney's west has been kept behind bars as the court heard there were two warrants out for the driver's arrest.
Ashlea Francisco, 37, and Kasey Glover, 39, were arrested and charged after a police pursuit from Prestons to North Rocks on Thursday morning.
They faced court on Friday, where it was revealed there were two warrants out for Glover's arrest, one for allegedly skipping bail, the other for failing to front court on similar charges.

Glover, who was driving the car during the pursuit, had a disqualified licence. 
One of his bail conditions also banned him from getting behind the wheel of any vehicle. 
Francisco was wanted for break and enter and allegedly stealing protein powder.
On Thursday, the wild chase was captured by the 9News helicopter after the pair failed to stop for police, sparking a pursuit.

A car chase has unfolded across multiple Sydney suburbs.
It ended when the car crashed into a traffic pole. (9News)
Superintendent Adam Whyte said the allegedly stolen car collided with the rear of a truck on the M5 motorway during the chase.
Footage shows the heavy damage sustained by the car following the collision as it continued to evade police.
It weaved in and out of traffic, running red lights before crashing into a traffic pole in North Rocks.
The pair were arrested at the scene.

When police searched the car, they found a number of items related to property offences and two firearms including a sawn-off rifle and gel blaster rifle.
Francisco was charged with six offences including possessing an unregistered firearm in a public place, aggravated break and enter, and stealing.
Glover was charged with 20 offences including possessing an unregistered firearm in a public place, police pursuit and driving dangerously, aggravated break and enter, fraud and stealing.

Francisco didn't apply for bail and was remanded in custody until next month.
It has also emerged that Francisco is the mother of Latia Henderson, who is serving a five-year sentence over the stabbing and kidnapping of a woman who was rescued from a car boot while being taken to the Belanglo State Forest.
Glover was also refused bail to remain behind bars.
