A man is assisting police after a fatal machete attack outside a 7-Eleven petrol station in Perth's northern suburbs.
Police and paramedics were called to the service station on Mullingar Way in Landsdale after 4pm yesterday after they received calls about a man who was unconscious.
Officers said upon arrival they were told two men had been involved in a physical altercation outside of the business, during which a third man approached and allegedly struck one with a machete.
The man in his 20s died at the scene.
A 28-year-old man is assisting police with their enquiries as investigations continue.
